Sunshine Coast

Quite the View

This trip we were on to the Sunshine Coast was amazing. This image was taken from the deck of  Arcturus Retreat, a B&B that we were staying at. The food and hospitality was awesome and when we go back to the sunshine coast we will definitely be giving Celia a visit once again. The lush vegetation was evident everywhere we went and even though there wasn’t much sunlight to speak of over the course of our trip it was certainly an eye opener as far as its natural beauty was concerned. I would highly recommend the Sunshine Coast as a vacation destination. It is located in southwest British Columbia and stretches 180 km (110 mi) along the Strait of Georgia from Howe Sound to Desolation Sound. Although it is part of BC’s mainland, access to the region is primarily by BC Ferries, creating an island atmosphere. There are lots of events scheduled over the course of the year as well as hiking and biking trails, fishing, canoeing etc. Really there is no shortage of things to do on the Sunshine Coast.
