Gibson’s Landing in HDR

These images were taken at Gibson’s Landing on the Sunshine Coast in British Columbia. This particular place was made famous when the Canadian made “Beachcombers” was filmed there from October 1, 1972 until December 12, 1990 and is the longest running dramatic series made for English language Canadian television starring Bruno Gerussi. As you can see the name is a bit of a misnomer as the Sunshine Coast didn’t have a lot of sunshine during our visit. It did however have some fabulous scenery. The other thing that I’ve wanted to try for some time is HDR format and this seemed like a great time to try it. Personally I really love the effect although I know it isn’t for everybody.
